Connect WhatsApp
Connect your number once under Settings → Notifications. From then on Ötzi knows which account you belong to.
Send and answer
Forward song and cover, or send a Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive link. Ötzi only ever asks one question at a time and remembers what is already there.
Write SUBMIT
Ötzi shows you a summary of everything. Only when you write “SUBMIT” does the release go out. Then you get your smart link and label copy.

Ötzi runs the same checks as the web and the app. A release from the chat is just as complete as one from the dashboard.
Asks everything
Type, title, artist, featured artists, genre, language, explicit, AI use, samples, songwriters with legal names, splits, cover, date and stores. What he already knows, he doesn't ask again.
Takes it all at once
Send song, cover and title in one go. Ötzi sorts the files, suggests the title from the file name and only asks for what's missing.
Checks your files
Technically: format, length, loudness, peak level, cover size. On top, an AI listens in and looks at the cover: language, genre, explicit content, text or logos in the image. These are only suggestions, you decide.
The right artist
Ötzi looks up your profile on Spotify and Apple Music and sends you the links. You confirm it really is you. New artists he creates right away.
Co-writers and splits
For every co-writer Ötzi asks for the share and the e-mail address. The rest is yours. Invitations go out once the release has been delivered.
Knows your account
Release status, streams, balance, payouts and smart links. Continue drafts from the web or the app in the chat. And if something gets stuck, Ötzi brings in a human.
Nothing goes out before you write SUBMIT.
Whether a release is submitted is not decided by the AI. Fixed program code checks it: exactly your word, exactly the summary you saw. If anything changes afterwards, you get a new summary.

Because nobody ticks boxes in a chat, we log every step in a tamper-evident way and send you a submission record as a PDF after submitting. That way you can always show what you confirmed and when.
You only get status updates if you ask for them with “YES” when submitting. “STOP” ends them at any time.

What Ötzi can't do
Better to know now than in the middle of a release.
Send the song as a document
If you send a song as audio, WhatsApp turns it into an MP3. The stores need the lossless file: WAV, FLAC or AIFF, sent via the paperclip as a document.
No WeTransfer
WeTransfer links expire and can't be loaded reliably. Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive work, or you send the file directly.
After submitting, only on the web
Corrections to a submitted release are made on the web or in the app. That way no change reaches the stores by accident.
Ötzi is an AI
He can be wrong. That's why he shows you everything again before submitting, and that's why you decide in the end, not him.
